About Us
The Chicago Blue are like no other club - bringing together people united by service for love of rugby, charity, and community.
Established in 2010, the BLUE are comprised of law enforcement, emergency response, military and others who support our mission. Many have described the BLUE as a club like no other they've experienced, largely because of who we are and what we represent.
Camaraderie
Camaraderie and kinship are the lifeblood of both our careers and our rugby community. It is only natural you will feel welcomed at your very first event with the BLUE.
Compassion
The BLUE give back to our communities. We have donated over $40,000 in support of various charities and passionately support youth rugby.
Success
Recognizing our greatest success occurs outside of competition, the BLUE have had many on the field, including winning the inaugural Chicago Social Cup in Fall 2019.
Why choose us?
We believe a rugby club should add something back into your life and not just take time away from it. You will find the BLUE fits well within your already busy schedule.
Social
We're happy to have you whenever your busy schedule permits. We're a social club with 4 matches a season, giving you plenty of rugby as time permits without becoming a burden.
Fitness
Rugby is never more enjoyable than when you're in shape and we are just the club that motivates you to maintain your fitness for a healthier life.
Family
We are very family-oriented with partners and children attending many of our matches and club outings. Beyond just parents, many of our members coach youth rugby.
Support the Blue
Your partnership secures the future success of the BLUE in fulfilling it's mission of compassion, camaraderie and competition. Become our partner and make a significant impact in the lives of others, when they need us the most.

Location
Practices occur in Schiller Woods and we play matches at various locations around the Chicagoland area. Check schedule below for list of current matches and activities.
Uniform
New members receive match shorts and socks as part of their dues. You will need a pair of boots (cleats). The club maintains jerseys for each match. That's it!.
